V O Y E U R is a collaboration between Tom Jarvis (pachyderm / Hey Majesty) and Byron (vague mémoire / Dust Bowl Era / Room Control.)
Voyeur are enthusiastic observers of sensational sonics, manipulating samples from pop to classical music, and using analogue drumbeats, synths, tape loops and delays to create a bittersweet rapture of sound that is both melodic and dissonant.
Voyeur is spontaneous music made with the neighbours knocking on the walls, waiting for the electricity to be cut off, pulses racing with the fear of monotony and the desire for change always growing and evolving.
Voyeur is the sound if everyone opened their front door and all the noises that are kept hidden inside poured out onto the streets, and the clash and cacophony became one sound without separate definitions; the observer and the observed bonded and their interior and exterior worlds united.
